Come taste a 7-course extravaganza featuring the best of Spanish seafood recipes + traditions!
Chefs Paras Shah and Jeffrey Weiss are the 2009-10 winners of the prestigious ICEX Spanish culinary scholarship, where the chefs represented the US as they lived in Spain, learned regional Spanish recipes including traditional Valencian paella, and later went on to cook in some of the best kitchens in the world with chefs including Ferran Adrià, José Andrés, Dani García, and Francis Paniego.

You can join us anytime at Valencian Gold for a taste of Spain, but for this special pop-up dinner we will be featuring our favorite regional seafood preparations that we learned while cooking in the best kitchens in Spain!


Cantabria --- ostra a la sidra | market oyster w/ cider gelee
País Vasco --- pastel de pescado "juan mari arzak" | seafood terrine, alioli
Asturias --- calamares afogao | seared calamari, onion & pepper sofrito, dark rum
Galicia --- pulpo a la brasa | grilled octopus w/ scallion chimichurri
Andalucía --- espeto de sardinas | charcoal-grilled sardines w/ pimentón vinaigrette
La Rioja --- bacalao al arroz | cod w/ salsa de arroz, smoked guindillas, & crispy rice
Extremadura --- torta de aceite oliva | olive oil cake, kumquat, candied fennel
