Chef Bruce Kalman

Born and raised in northern NJ, Bruce Kalman is a James Beard­-nominated chef whose work and training started close to home and took him to kitchens, entrepreneurial enterprises, and communities all over the US, including Chicago, New York, Santa Fe, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. He's also appeared on Bravo's Top Chef, Food Network's Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay, and others.

Now, he's in Las Vegas, and we're all excited about the possibilities he brings to the Vegas dining scene. Chef Bruce has an affinity for the farm-fresh, hand-crafted cuisines, and has a wide breadth of experience with Italian and Mediterranean flavors. He's also the chef-founder of BK Brinery, an artisan pickle company.

On his off time, Bruce works with Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters on Backbeat BBQ, and he is the front man of a cover band called Foie Grock with Chef Duff Goldman.

How about a class on fresh pasta with NO EQUIPMENT needed! (OK, maybe one small piece - Chef Bruce is including a cavatelli/gnocchi board!)

Join us for a three-course meal highlighting your own scratch-made cavatelli pasta!

* 1st Course: Stone fruit and burrata salad with poppyseed dressing and local honey.
* 2nd Course: Ricotta Cavatelli alla Vodka
* 3rd Course: Meyer Lemon and Bay Leaf Panna Cotta; strawberries and balsamic.


$85 - COOKING KIT (feeds 2 people)

* Appetizer of Focaccia and Giardiniere

* Portioned ingredients for both the salad and the pasta dish, ready for Chef Bruce to teach you how to prepare and assemble. (Don't forget the included cavatelli/gnocchi board!)

* Pre-made panna cotta and portioned ingredients for the strawberry balsamic accompaniment.



Can't pick up your ingredients or want to participate outside of Vegas? No problem! We will email to you a complete shopping list and an invitation to the live-stream and recorded video. (NO premade ingredients, pasta boards, or optional add-ons will be distributed for this choice.)
