"HIM" is a VIP Pre-Father's Day Dinner Experience celebrating fathers while showcasing dishes prepared by slaves Hercules and James Hemings, accomplished chefs for presidents George Washington and foodie, Thomas Jefferson (respectively). Chef Lonnett prepares her version of a 200-year old recipe for Macaroni Pie (Mac & Cheese) with Rosemary Grilled Lamb.

Hear the legacy of these two Black chefs and the history of favorite American dishes, Mac & Cheese and red velvet cake.

Each guest brings their own table, black table linens, chair (black chair cover), black plates, cutlery, stemware. All black attire is mandatory. Doors open at 6:30 PM

We encourage our chef/restaurant partners to create cuisine off-the-menu or a specialty fare that guests can not find anywhere else. Their specialty meals are aesthetically alluring and taste like the soul of our people.
